Reward your customers! Keeping your existing customer base and encouraging them to come in more often is the cheapest, easiest and quickest way of increasing sales. Bringing in new customers is always more costly.
Hand out these Holiday Rewards cards starting a couple weeks before Christmas to all the customers that come in. When they're paying their bill have the server wish them a "Happy Holidays" with a big smile and hand them a card. A warm, outgoing attitude from the server goes a long way.
Repeat business is quickest way to success.
