OMG ... School’s Almost Out!

In four to six weeks school will be out for the summer.

Are you prepared???

Have you thought of how to interact with the kids before they leave school? When they’re out for the summer? Marketing is all about preplanning. You always have to know what’s happening in two to three months or more so you can make your plans now. You need time to get your ducks in a row. Last minute, scatter gun approach is seldom effective. You need to know what’s going on in your community and how you can tap into that so it is beneficial for your store. Read your LOCAL newspaper. Go on the local community websites. Talk to people.

• Before school’s over see if your local elementary schools could use any
  of the many Student Achievement Certificates we carry to hand out to
  the kids for the great things they have accomplished.

• Your community library always has kids programs during the summer.
  See if the librarian will handout bookmarks to the kids to help promote
  reading.

• What sports are going on in your community? Baseball? Soccer?
  Swimming? We have sports participation certificates that we can
  customize with the team’s logo or just leave generic to the sport.
